In 1755, habitants of this land were forced out of their houses because they wanted to stay neutral in a war between the French and British. They were seperated in little groups and sent to the 4 corners of the British Colonies. This is their memorial. It’s known as Le Grand Dérangement.

Just came back from Halifax. Taken on a cruise at the closing of the conference. Actually, if someone knows what that Tower is, please let me know as we’ve been unable to figure it out.
